Do Not Hold me Closer, Let me go - Mary Catherine Graff
Do not hold me closer, let me go.
The world as I know it is gone. For you are no longer the person I used to know. Where did all the love go? When did I become your game’s pawn? Do not hold me closer, let me go. We once were friends many moons ago But now I have moved on. For you are no longer the person I used to know. You lost my respect blow by blow I was only someone you could prey upon. Do not hold me closer, let me go. It’s the devil you know But today I have moved on. For you are no longer the person I used to know. Soon this will just be a memory from long ago Because today I am no longer someone you can walk on. Do not hold me closer, let me go For you are no longer the person I used to know. |
