eleven eleven - Madeline Hamilton
“Hey, it is eleven eleven, come on, make a wish.”
            She didn’t really need to wish for anything though.
“Well, tell me. Did you, yes or no?”
            She nodded but she couldn’t find words.
“I wished for her,” he said.
            She nodded, still no words.
“What’d you wish for?”
            Heartbroken, she said,
            “Always for
            you.”
Madeline's creation of a dialogue within the constraints of the format, as well as her formatting of the lines to complement the dialogue, both impressed and interested the editors. Madeline is an 11th grade student at Regina High School.
