​some things burn on impact.

Writer's Statement: ​When I wrote this piece, I was trying to capture a specific feeling and direct the audience towards it. I was thinking about the unique sense of anger that follows a death; for me this was the death of my grandmother, but is applicable to so many situations in our lives. I really wanted to focus on connected imagery to illustrate that feeling.
