Been told life must have a purpose, sooner than later,
but if death is the destination, why even bother? Getting up just to fall one more time, grasping the light in reach, merely so darkness consumes it faster. No matter how far one can go, the road ends. Time, like a clock, tick, tock, da. |

"The word 'Da' at the end of the poem was purely intended to be a sound.
