Dappled light
Dancing across the ground
Vibrant color across the sea, the land,
Ever dancing
The ocean and chimes ring in my ears
Echoing across a cathedral of space
Endless and dreamlike

A Stone

A crystal
a living stone
thrumming with power
tinkling crystal bells
and the hum of a gem struck
with a tuning fork
It shimmers with energy unseen
and colors endless and ever-changing
Motionless but moving
like its
alive
like an egg
ready to hatch
hiding secrets behind walls of time
old but new
alive but dead
waiting

To Dreams

Inspiration of the night
hopes, goals, and things long wanted
stories dance in my minds eye
creatures howl of things that could be
the world, like a book to be read,
a tale to be told.
days pass, unreal, surreal,
life is full of questions, is this not a reality
people strive and fight and triumph
cozy days by the fire that crackles a song to me
of monsters and men,
of life and of dreams
