The colors in my dear hands
oily and fresh, scenting my flesh
the redolent angels bless.
To many I say to fathom
to grasp with my humble hands
it is a pleasure we must cherish
I must admit, I am adverted

So dashing, so halcyon
so betwixt and between!
The colors in my color box
burst and flourish my soul.
my fingertips shake
as the colors birth my muse.
They hum the warble
solely sweet to my soars.
Lucrative, luminous, melodic, ironic
Romantic, rich, righteous, powerful
One color beholds abounding tastes

My canvas so small, so short
no clue where it shall end
and yet I pursue the taste
so heavenly that even gods can not congest.
In my empty canvas, I best myself
to exploit the colors;
magnificent, humble colors.
It will shape my soul, my flesh, my heart
these colors in my color box.

These canvases, some finished some yet
Drawn by dissimilar elements.
Some scurried with a scantling
Create the wonders we dream.
While some were granted a plateau
but the results? Merely a scheme.
Only I wonder, what shall be the picture
To be hung in the future.

Writer's Statement: As I was crafting this poem, I wanted my readers to realize the value and nature of education. Many of us outlook the value of education and how lucky we are to have education. I want the readers to value education.
