Lacking
By: A Han
As I flick through glossy magazines,
Or see those images on my screen How I wish, oh wish I could be as pretty as the people in front of me. What about the pressure I face at school? No straight A’s for me, I’m a fool! I have failed in my parents eyes, and now I can only sit and cry. I see how they laugh on Instagram, the people more popular than I am. How did they get three hundred likes? My account is hidden, and out of sight. I only have select close friends, I never attend festivals or crazy weekends I can’t take pictures of every little thing, and really, I fear that my life is lacking. |
