In the darkness
I began
my relentless search
for relief.
In the oceanic depths
I learned how to swim.
In the rainstorm
I found solace within.
Here I am one with my suffering.
Here I do not deny its existence.
Here I see,
Darkness is the road to light.

Writer's Statement: Poetry became a way for me to reconcile with the world and my own life, serving to capture not only the vices of society, crawling around in every corner of the world, but also to commemorate the simplest joys in life.
