I’m a daisy in a meadow
Of roses and violets
And lavender and lilac
But it seems that my
Aroma is unknown
And that I’m alone
In a sea of plants
Planets light-years
Away that wave
With their petals
When our
Orbits conjunct
Or are visible
By the naked eye
Yet I worry it was
Only the wind and
Not a response
From my aroma

Wrtier's Statement: When I began writing, I accidentally wrote "planets" instead of "plants," but I decided to make it a feature of the poem.
