Editors' Notes
A new decade means new recipes, and for the fourth edition of Hot Dish Magazine we went national. We began to accept poems and short fiction from grades 9-12 from the whole of the United States. As we have in past years, the editors focused on improving our authors’ work before publication; however, we gave more overarching suggestions to the authors and allowed them to focus on the changes they wanted to make. With so many submissions to go through, the authors’ quick responses to our questions and requests greatly assisted in the process of publishing this year’s edition. We would like to thank everyone who submitted and cooperated with us during the editorial process. We hope to hear from all of you again for Hot Dish Magazine’s fifth edition next year.
