Because of all of the hard work you did,
Can it be that you went too early? Didn’t you say that when I grew up, we would escape to discover the mysteries of life, and find that one last adventure would be in our grasp? Going on those adventures you promised, having you with me, is impossible now that you’re gone. Joking around, loving you and everything you do. Missing you comes easy. Nights are long without you. Open the gates of Heaven, pour your love out to me. Quietly, I will always be thinking of you. Rest in the arms of God. Speak of me to God. Tell him I love him. Understand that I love you as much as I love God. Vacation to Heaven, when will it be my turn? X-rays couldn’t find the cancer. You will always be in my heart. Zion is in my sight. |
