Rochester
By: Jia Dunsby
From Oxford, we moved to a farmland
A deserted group of fields by the name of Rochester.
We bought a 4-floor house, wide as Noah's Ark
As big as a luxury Cruise in Rochester.
I roamed around the cornfields,
Rode my training bike down the roads of Rochester.
I walked down dimly lit streets, a book in my hand,
Bought from the public library of Rochester.
I left it there, my childhood-
Hayfields and meadows and all in Rochester.
And it’s been too many years,
Since I last saw you, Rochester.

As big as a luxury Cruise in Rochester.

Rode my training bike down the roads of Rochester.

Bought from the public library of Rochester.

Hayfields and meadows and all in Rochester.
And it’s been too many years,
Since I last saw you, Rochester.
