Sunshine's Laughter
By: Tanvi Jeph

There was a continuous hallway
I walked past its open doors
The closed ones always fascinated me
I gazed at them every day
Those doors were closed and empty
They had this solitary silenceOnly the sunshine talked
This scenery took me in a trance
These locked doors had hidden something in them
It was a protected secret
The sunshine tried to warn
But I was too mulish
I broke through the empty door
I was thrilled!
The empty doors were filled
They were filled with the sunshine’s laughter
