minor in Psychology. In the future she hope to be a writer of YA fiction novels. Her favorite

Emma Snyder is an undergraduate student working towards her BA. She is double majoring in
Biomedical Sciences and English at Buena Vista University. Her work was recently published in
The Albion Review. She lives in Storm Lake, Iowa. In her free time, she likes to play guitar,
remodel old school buses, and sail.

Dr. Annamaria Formichella is a Professor of English at Buena Vista University and the faculty
advisor for Hot Dish Magazine. She is the author of numerous poems and short stories as well as
scholarly articles. This is her first year working with Hot Dish, and she was impressed by the
