Pushing buttons, pulling hair

Clenching teeth, a possible swear.

Say she can cause some stress,

An understatement at its best.

Then she dances, does a spin

Fluttering eye lashes, flashing a grin.

Anger, frustration do not last long,

Before you know it they are gone.

A hug I get with a kiss,

That is why Kitty's the best.

Writer's Statement: ​This was a poem written by my late father who died of suicide to me. I have all rights to the poem and helped edit it. Because it is unpublished I thought of submitting it.
